However, modular buildings also have inspections at the factory, inspections by third-party agencies, and must be durable enough to be shipped from the factory to the build site. The added fact that modular buildings can be reused, which require new inspections and shipping prior to relocation, add more layers to the quality control process than most traditional structures are subject to.
